Lincoln Fencing Club had a fantastic showing at the Sisterhood of Steel Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa. All of the hard work during our recent Femme Fatale Fridays paid off as our fencers fenced with determination, skill, and heart throughout the day. They fought hard on the strip and represented Lincoln Fencing Club with pride.
Our fencers brought home some impressive results, but the weekend was about much more than medals. Sisterhood of Steel created a wonderful opportunity for our athletes to bond, build community, learn, coach, and cheer each other on. Watching our fencers support one another, celebrate successes, and grow together is what makes events like this so meaningful.
We are incredibly proud of the effort, grit, and sportsmanship our fencers demonstrated throughout the tournament.
A sincere thank you to the Des Moines Fencing Club for hosting such a fantastic event and bringing together such a strong and inspiring community of women in fencing. We are grateful for the experience and already looking forward to next year.
Stay tuned for more to come about future Femme Fatale Fridays as we keep building on this momentum.
