LFC fencers traveled to Northwestern University for the Remenyik tournament to go head-to-head with the best fencers in the region. Two of our athletes had absolute breakthrough performances, putting every ounce of training to work and pushing far past their previous limits!
Please join us in giving a massive round of applause to:
Ian – 15th place in Div 1A Men’s Épée, officially earning his B26!
Stefan – 7th place in Cadet Men’s Épée, bringing home his C26 and a legendary dagger prize!
We couldn’t be prouder to see all those long hours on the strip pay off in such a big way.
Congratulations to the entire LFC crew who stepped onto the strip! Facing such a tough regional field is no easy task, but our fencers brought relentless grit, high-level sportsmanship, and incredible club pride from the first pool bout to the final touch.
Shoutout to every single one of our competitors who gave it their all on the strip: Franklin, Max, Denny, Charlotte, Ian, Thomas, Louis, Stefan, Maddy, and LFC alum Will!
Every difficult tournament builds stronger competitors, and seeing this crew support each other through every single bout was a highlight of the weekend. We are so proud of the way you all represented LFC!
Thank you to Northwestern University for hosting such a spectacular event!
Next stop: back to the strip to keep building!
